Growth

Sorry I haven't been posting very regularly.
It turns out that two children keep me more than twice as busy as one child did.

With Soleo crawling and Orion's graduation to toys made up of tiny parts, my hands are full nearly all day. A couple of days ago, as the boys were "helping mow the lawn", I took the camera with me to harvest some lettuce from the garden and was able to get some good photos of all the growth we have going on around here.

Brian's meticulous planting and tidy garden beds!

Leeks in a row and lettuce ready to harvest.

Yum. Anyone else smell the warm lemon-butter dipping sauce?

I'll admit that I've tasted a few of these blueberries already. If we can just be patient, they'll be even better without the pale underbellies they still have. Our only hope is that Orion doesn't yet know to check them. He really likes sour things, so a tart berry doesn't deter him one bit.
