In case you wondered, we still know how to have a fun time!
It was Queen Zinnia's 20th anniversary (once a Queen, always a Queen!), so we headed down to the coronation for a few belly laughs and a good time!
There is a lot I've forgotten about what it was like to be 15 with a SLUG Queen for a mom. But some of the memories are so fantastic I hope I never forget! The neighbors having picked up our exchange student because we were all at the coronation. The next morning, when all the students gathered at the Saturday Market and talked about the crazy picture on the front page of the newspaper (so big it went beyond the fold) and our exchange student sheepishly saying it was her host mom. Being teased at school and feeling myself grow a little taller as I asserted she and were our own people. Ahh, the things the SLUG Queen has taught us! Here's to another 20 years of Zinnia being the most photographed and the most fun Queen!
