Since we celebrated Easter a week late, we missed out on getting the regular set of dye and decorations for eggs. And Orion didn't seem super interested in it, so when a package of 4 ceramic eggs arrived in the mail from Grammie Liz, complete with paints, it was perfect! Just a few eggs to decorate, and then we got to decorate the house with the eggs. As you can see, some days we do stay in our jammies all day.
The days are getting longer and I'm going to need to be more careful about getting him to bed on time. It seems like his school days are so big that he needs the rest of the days of the week as serious down time. He's discontinued soccer class (though not his love for shin guards and kicking the ball around!) and has regularly turned down my offers to go to the library for story time. I think he really likes just being at home with Soleo and me. I do too.
