Orion has a piece of rope that has been his FAVORITE play thing for about a month. He uses it to tie his trucks together, make a tow line from one to the other, "rescue" things with his fire truck by tying it to the ladder, and on and on. He also got the idea to use the rope as a lasso and has been attempting to lasso doorknobs. (He quickly learned the rule that he couldn't throw the rope at people!). Here, he has lassoed (?!) his brother. Soleo didn't really seem to mind, but we did extend the rule that the rope couldn't be on people.

We also have a set of ropes for C and Ruby to tie (though they haven't tied eachother up yet, thankfully). We actually got them before we had kids... it's not what you think! Knot theory is an interesting little branch in the math world (one that includes rather a lot of unavoidable puns about what's *not* a knot, etc.) Nice to see cute pictures of your little men :)
