There was much searching for the perfect tree.
Soleo thought being tipped over was pretty funny.
Even Mama took a turn sawing at the tree.
We did it!
Once we got the tree home, Orion got to use his very own saw (that Santa brought him last year!) to trim off the lower branches.
And Soleo got to play outside for the first time since learning to walk. It had been so rainy and wet that I hadn't let him toddle around outside. He had so much fun it was hard to get him inside! Since then Brian has cleaned off the driveway, much to Soleo's chagrin. He delighted in picking up the small twigs and sticks that the wind had blown off our trees.
Little bum, covered in dirt and dust. Proof that his "walking" still includes a fair amount of sitting.
Uh, Mama? Time to move the pumpkins off the front steps!
